Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Deland South, an IHG Hotel

We were here four nights. This is a nice, new, clean hotel. Rooms are in great shape - carpet, furniture, bathrooms. Everything is new and clean. Hotel in general looks and feels well-cared for. Location is very good - everything you could want is in the shopping center next door, and I-4 is only 5 minutes away.

Facility is (more or less) brand new. Supermarket, restaurants and fast-food chains are within a few minutes by car - many parking available at the hotel. Location itself is awesome, just 30min to Daytona Beach, 5min to Interstate 4 and many parks in the near area. I highly recommend Blue Spring State Park! Room is clean and offers a lot of space. Comfy beds, TV, fridge, microwave, and clean bathroom. Hotel staff super friendly. Room service is currently on request (cause of COVID), you can request it on the evening before - no problem here.

Location was great. Last minute booking after family's house we were staying with lost water pressure. The beds were extremely comfortable. Best sleep we had in a 2 week vacation spanning several states. Loved the soft lighting behind the furniture/headboards.

I didn't dislike much except that the price per night was higher for Saturday night. Great location and the beds were so comfy!!

Breakfast was only so-so. The location was convenient but tricky to find. The reception staff was efficient and credit to the evening / night receptionist for recommending an excellent place for dinner the night we stayed over......THE STOCKYARD .
